THE BRIEF

Bamboo was tasked by Windgather Press to improve its existing website which, although it had good content and ranked well in search engines, lacked design. Bamboo Solutions were commissioned to redesign the site to make it more customer-friendly and easier to navigate and read.

THE SOLUTION

The payment section of the old site took six clicks to purchase a book, Bamboo reduced this to three by implementing a new payment gateway. Bamboo Solutions also made navigating books easier by introducing commonsense sections, adding a forthcoming books section, including news and providing a subscription service to the two yearly ‘Landscapes’ journals.

The new design enabled the site to hold more content without looking too text heavy and to boost the site’s presence in major search engines for relative keywords.
